Carolyn King has set up a huge blog candy (over $1000 worth of goodies) for 1 lucky winner.
She is raising money for Alzheimer Disease awareness. You have to make a card and send it to a carer of an Alzheimer patient. I'm sending this one to my sister who cares for our Mum, who is an Alzheimer patient, 24/7 on her own without any help at all.
Lots of companies and private people have donated goods for this candy eg. "Sweet'n Sassy Stamps; Layers of colour; JustRite Stampers, Susan Liles; Lauren Meader.
Please take a look at this link to find out more about winning this great prize of over $1'000 worth of goodies.
I don't normally use designer papers as I prefer to make my own, but someone gave me this from "Smart Kraft" and it's an opportunity to use it. Not really my style, but someone might like it and the card can be used for something.
Being new to stamping, I thought I would emboss the hello, but I must've overheated it..... A bit of a catastrophe, but never mind, will enter it anyway for the Cat or Dog challenge at Cute Card Thursday . Looks like being one of those days for card making.
A newbie! Have coloured this using metallic pencils. The card is from Elco Creative Colours, the blue paper is from Lyns and the teabag is my own tile using Carolyn's "Fanfare Diamond Fold". Hope you like it!
